| RINCON
02/07/2006 Here is a video we made from a one day surf trip to Rincon. Featured Surfers are: Sean Murphy, Derek Bockelman, Vince Alessi, Jaimal Hornbocker, Jack Johnson and a couple of locals who seemed to be having fun. Tom curren and his brother joe were out (there are no clips of tom curren surfing in this vid) among hundreds of other surfers. It was pretty sad watching ten different people try to snake Tom Curren on one wave. The session has been called "The rat bastard snake fest". It was a beautiful day though. Sunny, head high, glassy all day, and even though it is february, there were a couple girls in bikinis on the beach.The main problem, besides the crowd of course, was the inconsistency of the swell.
